I made a colour chart using my Sennelier L’Aquarelle watercolours
I recently bought myself a yummy selection of Sennelier’s L’Aquarelle watercolours as I’ve become quite enamoured with this medium. (The majority of this stash of colours was a birthday gift – lucky me!!)
I painted my ceramic owl
Yup! That’s all that needs to be said! How do I know/decide how/what to paint them? Well, I often don’t know at first, so when I’m in dilemma as to how to decorate them I like to let my ceramic objects sit in front of me for a while, sometimes weeks, while I get on with other things.
I painted an old bamboo wind chime
Do you like wind chimes? I love them! I’ve had this old bamboo wind chime that I’ve been hanging on to and put on my ‘to do’ list since goodness knows when. So I am happy that I finally got around to doing it, and super happy with the result!
I designed patterns inspired by letters of the Greek alphabet and cured my creative block
Happily I completed my personal project to design patterns based on the capital Greek letters!
My love of the Greek language
As a child I loved learning other languages. But whilst I was brought up bilingual I never actually had a single proper lesson or any kind of instruction in Greek whatsoever.
The 100 day project and a return to blogging.
This was going to be my first blog post of 2021. But my previous post took precedence because when I was introduced to Baya Mahedienne’s artwork I was too excited not to write about it immediately! 😊
