Wading Flamingo

One of my earliest paintings using the technique of etching onto prepped wood with the pyrography. This colourfully abstracted expression of a wading flamingo came after one of my trips to Lake Kerkini in northern Greece. A beautiful location visited by migrating flamingos, pelicans and other wildlife.
