Lilas Blano<\/a><\/strong> is a French artist born in 1965. After studying at the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts in Reims, she briefly worked in advertising and animated film in London, Montpellier, and Luxembourg before setting up her studio in Reims to devote herself entirely to painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Blano is renowned for her contemporary figurative style, capturing a playful and rebellious femininity. Reminiscent of Klimts figurative portraits, her vibrant works feature women in exuberant colours and shapes. She describes her creative process as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
